Ray Valencia’s music career
Rey Valencia stepped to a stage for the first time when he was 6 years old. Since then, he has done the same more than 1000 times in many different countries as France, Turkey, Austria, Germany, Jordan…
As a sample of his career in salsa Rey Valencia has participated in first line festivals as the Masala Worldbeat Festival in Germany, Montreux Jazzfestival in Switzerland or the RTL Television in Luxembourg.
He has an extensive experience as vocalist in the main German salsa bands as Orquesta Salsamania, Orquesta Havana, Grupo Salson…
Rey Valencia has shared the record “Salsa Club Havanna-Various Artists“ with Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada, Mayito Rivera, Calle Real and Soneros de Verdad (Cuba), created as a sampler by “Warner Music Group”.
But his experience with salsa goes further than being a vocalist. He has produced as well two of the eight albums he has recorded.
